You must register to become an approved agent for the purposes of the Duties Act 2000 and the Livestock Disease Control Act 1994.

We can register you, but can also revoke or amend or place conditions on your approved agent’s registration.

Gather required information

The following information is required to complete the Registration Form for Approved Livestock Agent (Form 30), but refer to the form for specific instructions:

  • Your name/trading name, ABN or CAN, and any business partners,
  • Postal address and physical address of your main Victorian business,
  • Victorian addresses where you are performing /propose to perform as a stock agent, and
  • Type/s of livestock on which you will be liable for duty

Complete your form

The registration form can be completed:

  • On screen, then printed and signed, or
  • Downloaded, printed, completed by hand and signed

Either, way the form must be physically signed prior to lodgement. If you are completing this notice by hand, please use block letters in blue or black ballpoint pen.
