Complete a declaration that premises are not short stay accommodation
Use this form to declare to a booking platform that your property is excluded from the short stay levy. The property must fall within one of the exclusions in the Short Stay Levy Act 2024 to be excluded.

Confirm exemption with some more detail
The following information is needed to complete the declaration that premises are not short stay accommodation:
- your name and contact details
- the details of the property owner (individual, company/incorporated association or trust), including postal address and contact details
- property address
- why the property is not short stay accommodation
- a separate schedule if you are providing a declaration for multiple properties.

Complete the declaration
Your declaration can be completed on screen or by printing and completing by hand.

Lodge your declaration
You are required to submit the declaration directly to any booking platforms that accept short stay bookings on your behalf.
Do not send this form to the State Revenue Office.
