It’s important to check your assessment carefully to ensure there are no errors or omissions. If you notice any problems, you must let us know within 60 days.
Most errors or omissions on your land tax assessment can be fixed quickly and easily using our online application My Land Tax.
In My Land Tax, you can make amendments, including:
- updating your contact details,
- adding land you own that was not included on your assessment,
- removing land you didn’t own on the 31st of December of the previous year, or
- updating exemptions such as your principal place of residence or primary production land.
Registering for My Land Tax is easy and only takes a few minutes.
All you need is your:
- land tax customer number and assessment number (which can be found on your assessment notice)
- your date of birth
- your email address.
