State Revenue Office 2023–24 Annual Review is now available

The State Revenue Office 2023–24 Annual Review is now available.

The annual review outlines our activities, strategies and performance for the year, including our financial statements and key statistics about the revenue we administer.

This year’s review covers how we:

• assessed $31.4 billion in revenue
• helped thousands of Victorians buy or build their own home by managing a range of grants, waivers, exemptions and concessions, including $853.7 million in land transfer duty savings for first home buyers
• administered the COVID Debt Repayment Plan, which includes temporary changes to land tax and payroll tax
• delivered high-quality customer service, responding to 337,164 phone calls, managing 70,479 emails and earning a customer satisfaction level of 81%
• provided expert advice on tax technical matters to customers through the delivery of 1,389 private rulings.
