Deputy Commissioner of State Revenue and Executive Director – Strategic Development and Customer Engagement
Darren Joyce joined the State Revenue Office in 2000 as a communications specialist, managing the Corporate Affairs branch and working as a Corporate Relations Adviser to the Commissioner.
After more than a decade as the executive responsible for our Organisation Development and Corporate Services Divisions, Darren was appointed Executive Director of Strategic Development and Customer Engagement in July 2023.
Darren’s focus now shifts to corporate strategy, Corporate Affairs, Strategic Projects, Knowledge Management and Customer Experience and Education, while continuing to concentrate on his role as Deputy Commissioner.
Darren has more than 30 years’ experience as a journalist and public relations consultant, mainly within the finance industry.
