Changes to state taxes June 2022
The State Taxation and Treasury Legislation Amendment Act 2022 (the Act) received Royal Assent on 15 June 2022.
The Act introduced an exemption from motor vehicle duty for certain wheelchair accessible commercial passenger vehicles, as announced in the 2022–23 Victorian Budget.
The Act also included changes to several other Acts, including the Land Tax Act 2005, Payroll Tax Act 2007 and Taxation Administration Act 1997.
