SRO Wins Innovation Award
Published on 10 October 2014
At the annual Oracle Open World conference in San Francisco last month Commissioner Paul Broderick and Chief Information Officer Paul Dulfer accepted an innovation award on behalf of the SRO.
The accolade, selected out of nominations from about 250 leading companies across the world in the Business Process Management (BPM) category, recognises the work being done to extend the life of our core technology systems.
Judges considered our cutting-edge work using Oracle Fusion Middleware and the business benefits, the size of our organisation, the complexity and magnitude of implementation, and the originality of the architecture.
"The award was for the first project to use this technology," Mr Dulfer said.
"It is really pleasing for the SRO to be recognised as such internationally and validates that our approach to sustaining the life of our core systems is not only the right one, but world leading."
