Types of documents needed for applications relating to land for a school.

Non-school landowner (e.g. a developer)
Subdivision of land
- Copy of the development plan or precinct structure plan showing the proposed school lot.
- Copy of the plan of subdivision.
- Copy of the contract of sale for the school lot between the vendor and the school or proprietor of the school.
- If the lot is purchased by a non-school landowner to be leased to a school, a copy of the lease agreement or other relevant agreement between that landowner and school.
- ABN or ACN of the applicant seeking to register as a school.
- Acknowledgement from the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority that your application to register a school has been received.
- Any other documents from the school or liable person (landowner) supporting that the subdivision is solely for a school or proposed school.
Building permit application
- Copy of the planning permit or amended planning permit for a school.
- Copy of school master plan showing school buildings and facilities.
- Copy of the application to register a school.
- Acknowledgement from the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority that your application to register a school has been received.
- Copy of receipt of payment of school registration fees.
Government school
Subdivision of land
- Copy of the development plan or precinct structure plan showing the proposed school lot.
- Copy of school master plan showing school buildings and facilities.
- Copy of the application to register a school.
- Acknowledgement from the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority that your application to register a school has been received.
- Copy of the receipt of payment of school registration fees.
- Any other documents supporting that the land is for a proposed school, for example budget allocation for the establishment of a school.
Building permit application
- Copy of school master plan showing school buildings and facilities.
- Copy of the application to register a school.
- Acknowledgement from the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority that your application to register a school has been received.
- Copy of the receipt of payment of school registration fees.
Non-government school
Subdivision of land
- Copy of the development plan or precinct structure plan showing the proposed school lot.
- Copy of the application for a planning permit for the proposed school.
- Copy of the receipt for the fee paid for a planning permit application.
- Copy of council’s direction to advertise a planning permit application.
- Copy of the planning permit or amended planning permit for a school.
- Copy of school master plan showing school buildings and facilities.
- Copy of the application to register a school.
- Acknowledgement from the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority that your application to register a school has been received.
- Copy of the receipt of payment of school registration fees.
- Any other documents supporting that the land is for a proposed school, for example directors or board minutes, feasibility study, parent information/publication/advertisement for the establishment of a school.

- Copy of the planning permit or amended planning permit for a school.
- Copy of school master plan showing school buildings and facilities.
- Copy of the application to register a school.
- Acknowledgement from the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority that your application to register a school has been received.
- Receipt of payment of school registration fees.
