Pay your motor vehicle duty
Options to pay a duty assessment or reassessment notice.
Credit card
When paying by credit card:
- you need a current Visa or Mastercard
- a card payment fee of 0.45% applies to all card transactions. Fees do not apply to other payment methods.
BPAY
You can pay directly from your cheque or savings account using your financial institution's internet or phone banking service.
You will need the biller code and reference number from your assessment notice.

Electronic funds transfer
You can transfer your payment to us online directly from your cheque or savings account.
Use the bank account details on your assessment notice.
Payment arrangements
If you want to pay an overdue assessment, you can apply for a payment plan of up to 12 months.
