Pay your insurance duty

Options to pay your duty when lodging a return.

Credit card

When paying by credit card

  • You need a current Visa or Mastercard.
  • A card payment fee of 0.45% applies to all card transactions (fees are not charged for other payment methods).

BPAY

​Pay directly from your cheque or savings account using your financial institution's internet or telephone service.

Have the biller code and reference number, which appear on your assessment or return submission receipt, with you.

Electronic funds transfer (EFT)

You can transfer your payment to us online directly from your cheque or savings account. Our bank account details are on the assessment notice or the return submission receipt you received.

Overdue assessments and payment plans

If you are seeking an arrangement to pay an overdue assessment via a payment plan of up to 12 months, please use our online SmartForm.
